DupeBlocker for Professional Edition

DupeBlocker is available for Professional Edition starting with the Spring '10 release but ONLY when the API add-on has also been purchased. However, special updates to the Page Layouts for some of the DupeBlocker custom objects after installation will be required.

Note: These steps are ONLY required if custom profile support has not been purchased from salesforce.com

For the following custom objects, please edit the page layout (Setup->Create->Objects) and add a new section labeled “DupeBlocker Internal – Ignore” then add all fields not currently on the page layout to this new section. Although these fields need to be added to the page layouts they are for internal use ONLY and should not be modified by the user in any way.
