Before using MassChange Batch...
A directory or folder of MassChange jobs needs to be created in order to use MassChange Batch. Place the saved MassChange scenarios (.mcx files), to run and process automatically, in a folder or set of folders. The placement of such files into a folder will enable them to be read and processed in batch mode by MassChange Batch.
Step 1. Select the jobs to process
- Click the "Add Directory" button
- Click the "Pick" button
- This opens a window to access the folder(s) containing the .mcx files on your computer to process in MassChange Batch.
- To add another directory, repeat the first two bullet points (up to 256 different directories are supported).
- Optional - check the checkbox next to "Use Subdirectories" to process any subdirectories in the selected folder.
- Give each job a "friendly name" for easy identification. This can be done in the white box to the left of the file path.
The "Clear" button will clear all selected directories from MassChange Batch (not the computer), in order for other directories to be chosen.
The "Save" button will save the current selected directories and friendly names and automatically load them when MassChange Batch is opened. The files will not be processed until the "Run" button is clicked.

Step 2. Processing
- Click the "Run" button to begin processing
- The files will load and the status of each file in the directory will be displayed to the right of the file name; Waiting, Running or Completed.
- Once an entire batch has completed, click the "Run" button again for the next job.
The "Stop" button will end the processing of the MassChange files.

Completion Dialogue Box
- When a job has finished processing a dialogue box will appear informing the user of any errors and providing a link to the log file. The log file tracks the MassChange Batch operation.
